一路“童”行,学乐星幼儿园社会实践活动

    IB-PYP的探究项目中一直不断强调“实践”在探究过程中的重要性,学乐星幼儿园在小小学习者们主动参与探究活动的前提下,鼓励他们根据自己的猜想或假设对不同的主题进行拓展延伸,在探究过程中获得创新能力、促进思维发展、激发内驱力

    PYP always highlights that practice plays an essential role in inquiry-based learning. By encouraging little learners to actively participate in inquiry activities, XLX Kindergarten inspires kids to explore different themes based on their own conjectures or assumptions, which helps them develop innovative minds and divergent thinking, and boost internal drive.




    K3年级的幼儿围绕IB超学科主题“我们是谁——成长中的我”开展了一系列探究活动。小朋友和老师一起从探究线索出发,共同收集资料、记录探究过程。小小学习者们和老师一起开展了PYP社会实践环节,让我们跟随着K3年级小朋友的脚步,一起走进实践探究的世界

    K3 children carried out a series of inquiry activities regarding IB's transdisciplinary theme, "Who Are We-My Growth". Starting from inquiry clues, children worked with teacher to collect data and record the inquiry process. Little learners and teachers carried out PYP social practice together. Let's follow the footsteps of K3 grade children and walk into the world of practice and inquiry.



    01
    Kids’ First Independent Experience
    “小鬼当家”成长初体验


    超市是孩子在日常生活中最熟悉的场所之一,超市里各种各样的物品吸引着孩子的目光。为了扩展幼儿的社会经验,提高幼儿实践的能力,我们开展了“走进超市”社会实践活动

    As one of the most familiar places in children's daily life, the supermarket has a variety of items attracting children's attention. To enrich children's social experience and improve their practical ability, we carried out a social activity entitled "Let’s Go to the Supermarket".


    老师:“你们知道超市里售卖哪些东西吗?”

    Teacher: "Do you know what things are sold in supermarkets?"


    孩子:“我和妈妈去超市看到有水果,有蔬菜,有果冻、糖果......”

    Young: "When mom and I went to a supermarket, we saw fruits, vegetables, jelly and candy..."


    老师:“超市里有哪些工作人员呢?他们都是做什么的?”

    Teacher: "What staff are there in the supermarket? What do they all do? "


    孩子:“有售货员,还有收银员,售货员要把物品按照种类价格进行摆放,收银员是收钱的。”

    Young: "There are salesmen and cashiers. The salesmen put the items according to the types and prices, and the cashiers collect money."


    活动前,老师提前给孩子渗透钱币的概念,开展相应的主题教育活动:《认识货币》、《外出去超市的安全教育》、《我的购物计划》……

    Before the activity, the teacher educated children on the money, and carried out corresponding relevant education activities such as Knowing Money, Safety Education for Supermarket Visits, My Shopping Plan... 



    活动前一天,孩子自己定制购物清单。

    On the day before the activity, the children customized their own shopping list.  





    出发前孩子们还要学习超市购物流程和公共场所礼仪哦!准备好一切,怀着激动又高兴的心情出发了。

    Before going to the supermarket, children were also taught the shopping procedures in supermarkets and etiquette in public places! After getting everything prepared, children set out with excitement and joy.  



    接下来是购物时间了,孩子们对照自己的购物清单认真地挑选,今天要真正成为独立小主人。

    Next, it's time for shopping. Children carefully chose products they wanted to buy according to their shopping list. Today is the day for them to become independent.  



    大约半个小时后,孩子们都选好了自己的商品,到了收银台,在收银员和老师的帮助下,自己在实践过程中学会了交易。我的钱够不够啊?超过了怎么办?……哎呀,可忙坏了我们的收银员啊!最后孩子们带着自己的战利品满载而归……

    About half an hour later, the children chose their own goods and arrived at the cashier. With the help of the cashier and the teacher, they learned how to trade in practice.  Do I have enough money? What if I don't have enough money to pay for my stuff? .....  The kids kept our cashier super busy! Finally, the children returned home with their trophies...

    Going to the Post Office to Experience Former Slow-paced Life
    “走进邮局,感受从前慢生活”


    为了让孩子们了解当今社会生活,感受社会的进步与发展,孩子们走进了邮局。在这里,孩子们了解了邮局的发展历史,并亲身体验了一回邮寄信件的过程

    To help children better know about today's social life and feel the progress and development of society, we took children to the post office. Here, the children learned about the history of the post office, and experienced how to mail letters.


    来,一起去发现邮政的小秘密吧!小小的信封里装了满满的爱,里面会是什么呢?活动前的宝贝们也是认认真真做了准备的,他们一笔一划在纸上写出想对爸爸妈妈说的话并写上自己的名字,画上自己喜欢的图案。

    Let's discover the little secret of postal service! What could be in the little envelope full of love? Before leaving, the kids made serious preparations. They wrote what they wanted to say to their parents on paper, wrote their names and drew their favorite patterns.

      


    在工作人员热情讲解下,孩子们首先参观了银行营业厅,认识了邮政标志、邮箱,初步了解了写信、寄信的简单程序。随后孩子们满怀希望的将自己事先写好的信投入邮筒,亲身体验了寄信的过程及快乐。 

    Under the guidance of the staff, kids visited the bank business hall. The detailed instructions of the staff offered kids a vivid glimpse into the postal signs, mailboxes, and basic procedures of writing and sending letters. Then the kids put their pre-written letters into the mailbox excitedly and experienced the joy of sending letters.


    此次活动突破了以往将教育活动固定在教室中的传统思维,拓展了活动思路、内容与形式;充分发挥地域资源中各类社会机构的教育功能。

    By giving full play to the educational roles of social institutions in regional resources, this activity broke restraints of traditional classroom education, which helped stimulate creative thinking and give students a new perception of learning.




     SUMMARY

    PYP探究活动中的实践行动部分,是探究循环的最后一步,也是运用之前探究过程中所积累的感知与经验,对生活实际问题进行多角度、多层面的理解与学习。满足了幼儿学习兴趣与发展需要,丰富了幼儿对所在区域的认知体验,发展了适应社会生活的能力,激发了幼儿自主探究的能动性

    As the last step of the inquiry cycle, the practical action in PYP's inquiry activity involves the perception and experience accumulated in the previous inquiry process, which helps children better understand and solve practical problems in life from multiple perspectives. Such practical activities not only pique children's learning interests and meet development needs, but also enrich their cognitive experience of places where they live, develop their adaptability, and encourage them to explore independently.
