1. Admissions Policy

Applicants should meet one of the requirements below:

1.1 Students whose father or mother holds a foreign passport with the resident permit issued by Shanghai or a permanent residence card issued by the Ministry of Public Security.

1.2. Students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China or students whose father/mother from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China. Parents need to provide documents showing that they are working or living in Shanghai.

1.3. Students with foreign passports with a residence permit issued by Shanghai or a permanent residence card issued by the Ministry of Public Security. Parents need to provide documents showing that they are working or living in Shanghai

1.4 Students who were born overseas (if both parents hold Chinese passports without permanent residence from other countries, and the child holds a foreign passport without a visa issued by China, this does not meet the admissions policy).

* People’s Republic of China Travel Document (旅行证) and People’s Republic of China Exit and Entry permit (通行证) are not considered as visas.

2. Grades:

Elementary School (ES): Grade 2, Grade 4, Grade 5

Middle School and High School (MSHS): Grade 6, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10  

Online application deadline: 9 a.m., April 20, 2025

Entrance exam date: May 17, 2025

3. Application Process

3.1. Submit the online application form.

Search for "Admission" on the official website’s homepage. Click the ’application entry’, then complete the registration, and proceed to logging in to your account and fill in the application form.

3.2. The Admissions office will contact you for the application materials via mail in one week, please follow the instruction by the Admissions Office.

3.3. Submit the document (hardcopies) before the deadline provided by the Admissions Office. (Application materials are reviewed and confirmed on Thursdays and Fridays only excluding holidays.)

3.4. Entrance Exams for ES (Chinese, Math, and English)

Entrance Exams for MS and HS (Chinese and Math. For English, the applicant is required to submit DET(多邻国英语测试), TOEFL or IELTS scores within the past six months)

* Math test papers are in English.

The following is our recommended English proficiency requirements.

3.5. Family Interview. Interview languages are English and Chinese.

3.6. FDIS makes the decision and the Admissions Office informs families via email or phone call.

Applicants need to be informed of the following issues:

Fudan International School can help with student visas only if the student’s age is 18 or above.

If there are no seats left at FDIS, students will be put on the waiting list.

5. Open Houses

The Admissions Office will provide updates on Open Houses at the beginning and middle of each month.

Search for "Admission" on the official website’s homepage. Click the ’application entry’, then complete the registration, and proceed to selecting the time slot that suits you under ’open house booking’.

Please note that there is no Open House event during the winter and summer vacations.

申请人应满足以下要求之一：

1.1 父亲或母亲持有外国护照，并持有上海市签发的居留证或公安部签发的永久居留卡的学生。

1.2. 来自中国港澳台地区的学生或父母来自中国港澳台地区的学生。家长需要提供证明自己在上海工作或生活的文件。

1.3. 持有外国护照、上海市签发的居留证或公安部签发的永久居留卡的学生。家长需要提供证明在上海工作或生活的文件

1.4 在海外出生的学生（如果父母双方均持有中国护照，没有其他国家的永久居留权，孩子持有外国护照，没有中国签发的签证，则不符合招生政策）。

* 中华人民共和国旅行证件（旅行证）和中华人民共和国出入境证（通行证）不被视为签证。

1.5. 持有教育委员会许可证的学生

小学 （ES）：2 年级、4 年级、5 年级

初中和高中 （MSHS）：6 年级、8 年级、9 年级、10 年级

在线申请截止日期：2025 年 4 月 20 日上午 9 点

入学考试日期：2025 年 5 月 17 日

3. 申请流程

3.1. 提交在线申请表。

在官方网站主页搜索“入场”。点击“申请条目”，然后完成注册，然后登录您的帐户并填写申请表。

3.2. 招生办公室将在一周内通过邮件方式与您联系申请材料，请听从招生办公室的指示。

3.3. 在招生办公室规定的截止日期前提交文件（硬拷贝）。（申请材料仅在周四和周五进行审查和确认，节假日除外。

3.4. ES（中文、数学和英语）入学考试

硕士和高中入学考试（中文和数学。对于英语，申请人需要提交近六个月内的DET（多邻国英语测试）、托福或雅思成绩）

* 数学试卷为英文。

以下是我们推荐的英语水平要求。

3.5. 家庭访谈。面试语言为英语和中文。

3.6. FDIS 做出决定，招生办公室通过电子邮件或电话通知家庭。

申请人需要被告知以下问题：

复旦国际学校只有在学生年满18岁或以上的情况下才能帮助办理学生签证。

如果 FDIS 没有剩余名额，学生将被列入等候名单。

请注意，寒暑假期间不举办开放日活动。
