School Introduction

北京市新府学外国语学校由顺天府学教育集团创办，是一所为学前至高中学生提供13年一贯制优质教育的全日制寄宿兼走读制双语特色国际化学校。新府学“数学+”的教学特色及中外籍双班主任制的小班化教学形式，在发挥中国基础教育优势的同时，引入西方教育的精粹，扬长平短，充分发掘学生的天赋才情。

新府学致力于培养学生扎实的学术能力，通过全球化国际课程、新府学自主研发的特色课程、课外活动和国际交流，培养学生成为有自信、有能力、爱好广泛、对双语文化有深入理解，有责任有爱心的世界公民。

Beijing Xin Fuxue International Academy (XFA) was founded by Shuntian Fuxue Education Group. It is a bilingual international school approved by the Beijing Municipal Education Commission that offers kindergarten through grade twelve day and boarding educational programs for both Chinese and foreign students. It is characterized by “Mathematics Plus” and small-class sizes and taught by both Chinese and foreign homeroom teachers. XFA integrates modern pedagogical theories and western educational concepts into our curriculum while retaining the academic rigor of Chinese basic education. By doing so, we aim to help each child achieve his or her maximum potential.

XFA also aims to develop young learners into responsible global citizens and we do so by providing a robust international curriculum, international student exchanges, a wide variety of electives, and enrichment programs to cater to each child’s developmental needs. In their pursuit of knowledge, students of XFA will develop the confidence, skills, interests and multi-cultural understanding to become responsible internationally-minded productive bilingual citizens in a competitive global community.

关于中学

Middle School Overview

目前，新府学初中是IBO国际文凭组织MYP项目的候选学校，我们基于国家义务教育学科课程大纲，结合MYP的课程目标，为初中阶段的学生开设语言与文学、语言习得、数学、自然科学、人文、艺术、设计、体育与健康八大学科组的学习内容，采取分层教学、必修及必修可选的教学方式，以满足每个学生的学习需求和个性化成长。

中文和数学课程等均采用国家义务教育阶段教育部审定的教材，完成中国国家课程大纲要求并加以拓展和延伸。英文及其它学科我们使用培生教育集团的KEYSTONE及IGCSE官方指定教材。新府学已获得爱德思Edexcel International GCSE认证，成为IGCSE全球认证学校。

新府学初中阶段，中英文双语言授课比例为3:7，来自于欧美的外教全天融入学生的学习和生活，为孩子们打造双语沉浸式的语言环境，让他们在充满关爱、充满安全感及充满自我挑战的环境中感受和体验多元文化的差异。学校注重夯实学生的学术基础，为学生提供丰富多彩的特色主题活动、国内外竞赛及国际交流活动，培养孩子的国际视野和完全人格。

The Middle School in XFA offers an academically rigorous program that helps students develop deep understanding of key and related concepts through inter-disciplinary learning units. Students will be challenged to think critically and make connections about their learning with real-world issues.

As an IB MYP candidate school, XFA will be offering a wider choice of subjects from the eight subject groups, namely: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Mathematics, Sciences, the Arts, Physical and Health Education, Design and Individuals and Societies.

The Middle School curriculum will also help the learner develop approaches to learning skills (ATL). These skills are essential to ensure the student succeed in higher education and becoming a lifelong learner.

In XFA, electives and clubs play an important role in nurturing the whole-child. ► 2019年，新府学初小部学生参加澳大利亚信息数学竞赛 (CAT)，共计23人斩获一、二、三等奖，其中6人以满分的成绩获得了一等奖。

► 2019年，新府学初中学生组队参加2019 SPBCN中国英文拼字大赛团体赛春季赛，获华北赛区第三名。

► 2019年，新府学7-8年级共12名学生参加澳大利亚科学竞赛 (BSC)，取得一、二、三等奖。

► 2019年，新府学6-9年级学生参加澳大利亚数学竞赛 (AMC)，最终超90%学生斩获奖项，其中一、二、三等奖获奖比例均高于赛事平均获奖率。

► In 2019, the elementary and middle school group participated in Australian Computational and Algorithmic Thinking Competition (CAT), 23 students won prizes and 6 of them got full credit.
